The Quilted Cow, located in the Ozark Mountains, just outside of Branson, Missouri opened in 2010 in the small lakeside village of Cape Fair.

We originally opened as a clubhouse, of sorts, to gather and sew with friends in a welcoming atmosphere. After observing the trend of quilters traveling the area’s back roads on their way to vacation in Branson, we recognized the potential for accommodating their creative needs by offering a wider range of products and services, including an extensive variety of high-quality fabrics.

Since then, we’ve moved The Quilted Cow to a new home, closer to Branson, just a few minutes from Silver Dollar City, with a retail space of 3,000 square feet. We are thrilled with the opportunity to meet quilters from all over the country and strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere where our visitors, guests, and customers will want to come in and stay a while!

We are still the area's gathering space for inspiring quilting, sewing, and creativity, and have grown our reach to Facebook, where we inspire thousands of quilters each week through offering unique kits on Facebook Live and hosting a group page where we encourage quilters and sewists to share their projects.
We love the compliments we receive from our valued customers, who have become our quilting family, and we are always asked how we do it, the answer - we all love what we do!
